Work on your self care game

With work, family and social obligations pulling you in a thousand different directions, you should always make sure you take time to look after yourself as well. Everyone's version of self care might be different, maybe it's a trip to hot yoga, or a hot bath and a glass (or bottle) of wine. Whatever it is that relaxes you and helps you unwind, make the time to do that at least once a week. Set some goals

Take stock of where you are, think about where you want to go, how you want to feel, and set some goals to help you get there. It doesn't take long for inner feelings of "blah" to manifest themselves on the outside. When you put an effort into your every day outfits, your hair, your skin, not only will people take notice and compliment you on it, but the feeling of looking good on the outside will make it's way inside too. Hit the mall, find the shapes, styles, colours that make you feel like a beautiful babe, get the new, bold hair cut or colour you've been thinking about, whatever it takes to make the outside bold and beautiful. Looking great, feels great and even if you don’t think you deserve to feel good, the truth is – you do!

Now that you have a few tips, kickstart your year and work hard to make it the most confident happy year of your life! Keep in mind self-esteem boosting isn't something that will happen over night. It's going to take dedication every day. However, when you get it right and start some good habits, you will see just how the shift improves your daily life, your mood, and your happiness.
